Living on the Island, the beautiful and ever-changing land and seascapes all around are a strong influence on her work. She likes to work from memory from absorbed images and the feel and atmosphere of the captured moment.
"No day ever seems to look or feel the same, so I try to capture some of these special moments in colour and movement. I tend to work mainly in acrylic and mixed media, using iridescent colours to add depth and an element of surprise in my work, changing their appearance when you look at them in different lights and angles. I am currently creating abstract sea and landscapes, and flora, as a study subject, in various styles."
