Carolyn Tyrer
Carolyn takes her inspiration for her paintings from the sea, coastal towns and villages and the countryside.
Her sea and wave paintings come from a love of sailing and a deep connection to the beautiful beaches around the British coastline.
Her paintings are collected worldwide by clients who share her fascination with the many colours with in and translucency of the waves.

In a very different style Carolyn also paints well known harbours. These images are often chosen by the RNLI for their charity calendars and cards. As a keen sailor Carolyn supports the charity by donating the use of the images.
She produces original paintings in acrylic on canvas and works in a wide range of sizes should you have a particular space in mind and would like a commissioned piece.
Carolyn works from her new studio in the glorious Cotswold village of Barford St Micheal and comes to the Island for inspiration and 'Vitamin Sea' regularly.
